WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP FIBA USA VS PHILIPPINES.

USA VS PHILIPPINES GROUP A U17 Fiba World Championship.

A friend of mine just showed me this, I didn't even know there was a fiba U17 games.
I know I love to play bball, but I never really watch games. Because I rather play than watch.
Recently since I have not been playing, and out of shape that's pretty much what I can do now just watc
and comments on how the game is, if there's any part where it interest me. So I watch this on youtube, btw U17 UNDER 17 I'm Assuming. hehe.
Being a filipino who grows up in America, it is about skills and experiences. It's not about height for me but it I will say strength, stamina, agility, experiences, knowledge, and mana power. HAHA almost like a mmorpg game hahaha. But yeah If you have a tall player playing against you, beat him with all those attributes I have just mention. In this case, the attributes I looked at team USA were MUCH MUCH BETTER. After all growing here, bball seems MORE competitive than how I see it in the Philippines. Because here they really not only focus on the SKILLS but the physical attribute of a player. Their endurance, their power,  their experiences. Which makes a lot of USA player that you see in the NBA very EXPLOSIVE. But yeah I have to say they did OKAY against team USA. Actually they did GOOD, When I was 17 although I love bball, I don't think I'll play that well also haha . Unless I had a good team, OH WAIT THAT'S THE MOST IMPORTANT ATTRIBUTE in BBALL! TEAM WORK! lol.
I wanted to see Kobe paras who was in the U18 dunk contest, I read online that he is only 16!.

PHILIPPINES' KOBE, KOBE PARAS

I'm a big fan of his DAD by the way Benjie Paras hehehe
Benjie PARAS!!!

also a funny actor

Anyways for the OUTCOME OF FIBA U17 Tournament
1st Place USA 7 wins 0 losses
2nd Place Australia5 wins 2 losses
3rd Place 6 wins 1 losses
and the rest you can see on fiba websites
U17 FINAL STANDINGS FIBA WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP

I'll repost the rest of the games guys! ^_^
Anyways let me know what you guys think!

Jeremy Lin to the lakers

Welcome to the Lakers - Jeremy Lin Highlights: http://youtu.be/g9r0zHfn_zs
Okay I haven't been blogging for awhile been really busy BUT! A lot of things had happened in the bball world a lot of trading in the NBA, Injured players, returning players. Now in a few days the Fiba basketball will starts. This year I will follow team Philippines since I'm filipino so win and lose I wanna see how they do. Of course the ones people feel will win is of course team USA but we will see hehe. Anyways I pick Jeremy Lin highlight because it's what made me feel like blogging and got me back to return. I myself has not been playing but now is trying to get back in shape. Any ways back to the Jeremy Lin, I am asian but that does not mean I think he's the best but he is good, not much asian player in the nba. Filipino in the pba doesn't aim foe nba because their salaries are enough to live in the Philippines.  But I can be wrong, maybe they just love to play there.  Hehe I know if I had money like that I'd prefer to live in the Philippines.  But for me since I'm a new yorker idk I can live anywhere as long as I have money haha. But I do follow asian players. There are some filipino American in the nba but they don't
look like filipino or anywhere near asian. Anyways since we are talking about Jeremy Lin we are talking about Lakers hehe and I just found out there is a filipino american who is also joining the nba. His father is american and his mom is filipino Jordan Clarkson watch some of his highlight and he's pretty good he can get better just gotta work on some skills, so I'm looking forward to the Lakers hehe.

...........
Ah instead of Jordan Clarkson I'll just show the new guys at Lakers. So let me know what you guys think ha. Hehe

Shaqtin a FOOL! and this weeks highlights

Wassup Everyone!!
Just wanted to start this blog off with some comedy from basketball hahaha
Let's go watch SHAQTIN A FOOL one of my favorite part of nba hahaha.

One that really stood out for me was Amare Stoudemire... lol. He probably passed it to her on purpose, hahaha.

Now we have a circus shots by John Wall, I love seeing these kind of shots.

AMAZING RIGHT haha plus a free throw. I usually call those miracle shots hehehe but I guess circus shot is better hahaha.

Now doesn't it seems like there's been a lot of  "the returns .." in nba?!?!?!
Well this guy is probably one of my favorite "returnee" hahaha

Yep RONDO!!!!!!

This guy is one good pg! man!! I hope he keep it up and stay healthy!!.

Another great play this week was from NENE who blocks Lebron James !

And one final video to end this, and I chose a video from the Knicks! A bullet pass from Carmelo to K-MART!.

 Good pass bro!.

Well that's all guys see you next weeks haha.

Why I love bball! and what led me to blog about it! =).

Wow this week I missed a lot of games been really busy. SO MUCH STUFF TO BLOG ABOUT ugh hahahaha. Right now I'm trying to see all my options in bloggings because I really want to make my blogs interesting fun, and ORGANIZE. Doing these I feel will help me enjoy blogging more and also let's reader enjoy my blogs. Basketball is one of my favorite sport, probably IS MY FAVORITE SPORT but I am open to other sports, I just have more knowledge on this sport than in other.

My background in bball, I think I've got an interest to the game when I was around 9 or 10 years old. It was my last year in elementary. Every year we would have a sport fest in our church and  and we would build a team for our locale congregation to play against the other congregation of the church I go to (the Church of Christ). Before we have the games, we would have a coach who taught us how to play. But around that time, it was just basically just having fun and promoting brotherhood in the church. But basketball is a really competitive sport so we were learning to be competitive also, but at that age with our small and weak body we lacked skills and strength to play real basketball.

During my last year in middle school, we had a new coach in our team. He really trained us the way he trained a school team back when he was a coach at some school in philippines (not sure if it was a highschool or college team). We also  had new players straight from the Philippines. And BOY they were really good in bball!!! They were in a different level to those in my age. One of them really trained in a bball program by MILO (A popular healthy malted chocolate/milk drink promoting healthy body and energy for kids), and the other guy is just a monster quick shooter because he play bball more than his attendance in school in the Philippines haha YOU GUYS KNOW WHO YOU ARE xP. But I really looked up to them, during that year street ball like AND 1 was also becoming popular and people doing cross overs and "artistic moves" and everyone was doing And 1 at the park. Anyways that year we were building up strength and skills in our bball practices. We strengthened our muscles, our stamina, and we improved our basic skills (proper defense, proper layups, jump shots, and free throws)  THANKS COACH! Which really help me in my high school because I was able to make my high school varsity. I didn't play much in their due to grades and attendance problem I had, but the practices I had improved me even more. But I did continue to play for my church's bball team and we had won several championships which were great memories, because what I learned about this game is, it's not a one player game but a team game. It really taught us to work together and achieved success in winning our games.

After High school I still play bball for my church, but didn't have the time we used to have. We all got busy in college, other got busy working, or helping their family. It really sucks after high school because that was when the real world stepped in. For us Filipino we are not that tall and most of us look at being stable financially and being ready for the real world, that we can't sacrifice our time and dream about becoming basketball players. We want to make money to help our families back in the philippines while trying to pay off every bills here in the U.S. So yeah, now the only thing I do is watch nba, play a quick bball games at the park or indoor gym (I usually have to pay 5$ or more for indoor games) or just play bball on video games console.

AND NOW here I am blogging about the game I love! hehe I hope you continue to visit and enjoy my blogs thanks for reading guys ^_^
